At Yummly I was the in-house cooking expert for the Yummly Smart Thermometer. That involved creating and overseeing articles and recipes to promote it, as well as doing lots of behind-the-scenes work.
For example, I helped improve the thermometer’s accuracy and UX in the Yummly app and oversaw staff testing for the v1 and v2 thermometers. The IoT, QA, and data teams and I collaborated on cuts and correct doneness for 13 proteins. And then the senior photo and video lead and I worked together to cook, style, and photograph proteins for the app, saving the company $20K.
